How electrolysis works
A fine sterile probe follows the natural opening of the follicle and delivers a small, controlled amount of energy to the cells at its base. Those cells are what produce the hair. Once they are disabled, that follicle cannot grow another one.

Your first appointment
The first visit is a consultation and patch test. Shannon looks at your skin and hair, explains the method, treats a small test area and checks how your skin settles. From that you will get a plan: how long each session needs to be, how often, and roughly how long the course will run.
Questions
Do people really travel from Babraham?
Yes. It is roughly 10.5 miles — m11 north to the A428 westbound, then follow signs for Cambourne. Most clients are here in about 25 minutes.
How is the drive from Babraham at rush hour?
